An operations and business development manager is required to manage a lounge, cafe, restaurant, and PlayStation venue on Al-Esawy Street – Sidi Bishr, Alexandria. We are looking for a manager with real experience in operating and managing cafes, restaurants, or entertainment venues, who can manage and develop the business, rather than just monitoring staff attendance.
Responsibilities: Daily operations management and monitoring work shifts. Managing staff, delegating tasks, and organizing schedules. Participating in hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff. Monitoring service standards, food/beverage quality, and cleanliness. Managing procurement, inventory, dealing with suppliers, and minimizing waste. Monitoring revenues and expenses and closing daily accounts. Solving operational problems quickly and taking responsibility for decisions. Developing offers and pricing to improve customer experience. Innovating and implementing events, competitions, and occasions that help increase traffic. Working on increasing sales for the cafe, restaurant, PlayStation, and lounge. Providing clear reports on performance, issues, and a development plan for the venue.
Requirements: Previous experience in managing a cafe, restaurant, or entertainment venue. Leadership personality with the ability to manage and build a team. Good understanding of costs, inventory, procurement, and supplier relations. Ability to track and analyze sales and make decisions to increase them. Ability to solve problems and take responsibility. Flexibility to monitor different shifts and work after midnight when needed. Preference for residing in Sidi Bishr or nearby areas.
Work System: 6 days per week. Full-time with rotating hours to cover both shifts. The venue operates from 10 AM to 4 AM. Additional performance-based incentives for achieving results. 3-month paid trial period.
