  2. Field Technical and Veterinary Supervision
    • Monitoring key performance indicators: Daily and weekly tracking of growth rates, target weights, feed conversion ratios (FCR), and mortality rates (Mortality Rate).
    • Managing care and internal environment: Ensuring optimal operation of environmental control systems in closed houses (temperature, humidity, ventilation, and lighting) in accordance with breed-specific guidelines (e.g., Cobb, Ross, Arbor Acres).
    • Biosecurity programs: Strictly enforcing biosecurity measures to prevent disease entry, managing vaccination schedules, and veterinary medications in coordination with the medical team.
  3. Financial Management and Cost Reduction

  4. Reporting and Data Analysis
    • Production cycle financial and technical reports: Preparing flock close-out reports detailing technical performance and profitability for each house or farm.
    • Administrative reports: Submitting periodic reports (weekly/monthly) to senior management on sector productivity, field challenges, and proposed solutions.
  5. Human Resources Management and Farm Development
    • Supervising teams: Leading and guiding production engineers, veterinarians, supervisors, and workers across various sites.
    • Updating and development: Proposing and implementing modern breeding techniques and house isolation to enhance production efficiency and keep pace with poultry industry advancements.
  6. Poultry Sales Coordination
    • Scheduling and flock removal plans: Coordinating with poultry traders or slaughterhouses 5 days before cycle end to arrange chick removal schedules and quantity distribution.
    • Loading permits issuance: Organizing entry of transport vehicles (cages) into farms and accurately documenting the number and weights of birds dispatched from each house.
    • Daily market monitoring: Tracking daily poultry meat market prices and updating selling prices accordingly in coordination with management.
    • Biosecurity logistics management: Coordinating with the farm team to ensure biosecurity measures are applied (e.g., disinfecting transport vehicles before entering the farm for harvesting).
    • Cash on delivery: Ensuring receipt of sales amounts (or agreed-upon portions) in cash or via immediate bank transfers from traders before or during vehicle loading at the farm.
    • Scale weighing verification: Reviewing "scale tickets" (live and dead weights) issued by the scale operator and matching them with amounts received from the trader to ensure no discrepancies.
    • Follow-up on major customer/slaughterhouse withdrawals: For contracts with slaughterhouses, tracking receivables during the agreed credit period (e.g., 7 to 14 days from receipt) to ensure liquidity for the new cycle (chick and feed procurement).
    • Financial cycle closure: Preparing a quick financial report linking total sold weights from 150,000 birds to total amounts collected and closing trader accounts for each cycle individually.

Required Qualifications and Conditions:

  • Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or Agricultural Sciences (Animal/Dairy Production specialization).
  • Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years of work experience in broiler farming (preferably in closed systems), including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
