Role Description The Syrup Preparation Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for preparing beverage syrups according to established recipes and production plans, including accurate measuring, mixing, and blending of ingredients. The technician monitors equipment and process parameters, performs routine checks on mixture quality, and records production data to ensure consistency and compliance with safety and quality standards. Daily tasks include cleaning and sanitizing tanks and mixing equipment, following hygiene protocols, and coordinating with production, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure timely supply of syrup to the filling lines. The technician also assists with inventory of raw materials, reports any deviations or equipment issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in the syrup preparation area. Qualifications Ability to follow standardized recipes, measure ingredients accurately, and prepare syrups to defined specifications. Basic understanding of food or beverage production processes, including mixing, blending, and handling of liquid ingredients. Attention to detail in monitoring process parameters, documenting production data, and complying with safety and quality procedures. Capability to operate, clean, and perform basic checks on mixing tanks, pumps, and related production equipment. Willingness to work in a physically active manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and handling moderate lifting. Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with production, quality assurance, and warehouse staff. Previous experience in beverage or food manufacturing is preferred; technical or vocational training in a relevant field is an advantage. Basic numeracy and literacy skills; ability to read and understand work instructions and safety guidelines. Commitment to workplace safety, hygiene, and adherence to company policies and standards.
