Role Overview The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health, operational discipline, and financial planning of Tribe X across all business operations. This role exists to ensure the agency scales sustainably through strong financial governance, accurate reporting, cash flow visibility, operational efficiency, and commercially sound decision-making. The Finance Manager acts as both a strategic financial partner to leadership and the operational lead of the finance department balancing day-to-day finance operations with long-term financial planning, compliance, business performance management, and scalable financial systems. This role also ensures Tribe X operates with strong financial visibility, operational discipline, and commercially sustainable systems that support long-term agency growth. What You ll Do Financial Operations & Oversight Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounting, reconciliations, reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management. Ensure financial records are accurate, organised, and maintained in line with internal controls and accounting standards. Review and approve key financial transactions, reconciliations, and month-end deliverables. Maintain visibility across operational spending, collections, outstanding balances, and cash flow movement. Ensure finance operations remain organised, scalable, and operationally efficient across all business activities. Financial Reporting & Planning Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. Prepare financial summaries, management reports, forecasts, and budget tracking reports for leadership. Support financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes across departments. Monitor business performance, profitability, operational costs, and cash flow trends. Provide leadership with commercially relevant financial insights and operational recommendations. Support business planning by identifying financial risks, trends, and growth opportunities proactively. Compliance & Financial Governance Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, VAT requirements, social insurance obligations, and statutory reporting requirements across Egypt and UAE operations. Coordinate with auditors, external accountants, legal advisors, and tax consultants where required. Maintain strong financial controls, policies, and governance processes. Ensure audit readiness through accurate financial documentation, reporting discipline, and organised record keeping. Continuously improve financial governance frameworks and operational finance controls. Team Leadership & Department Management Manage and support the finance team including workload distribution, performance management, and operational oversight. Review team output to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Build scalable finance workflows, systems, and reporting structures that support business growth. Conduct regular performance reviews, feedback discussions, and development planning for finance team members. Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and financial discipline across the department. Process Improvement & Business Support Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements across finance operations. Support leadership with financial insights that improve decision-making and operational planning. Partner with department leads to improve financial awareness, budgeting discipline, and reporting accuracy across the business. Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimisation, and stronger financial visibility systems. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve commercial awareness and operational efficiency across departments. What You Bring (Qualifications) Must-Have 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with leadership or management experience preferred. Experience overseeing multi market Finance operations (Egypt/UAE) Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial controls. Experience managing finance operations within agency, startup, or fast-paced business environments. Strong understanding of Egyptian tax, VAT, labour, and compliance regulations. Experience with accounting systems such as Xero or similar ERP/accounting platforms. Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills. Strong organisational and leadership capabilities. Fluency in English (written and verbal). Strong understanding of operational finance, cash flow management, budgeting discipline, and financial planning processes. Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced and high-accountability business environments. Nice to Have Exposure to agency commercials, profitability analysis, and operational finance. Professional finance or accounting certifications. Experience building finance systems or process automation initiatives. By the second half of the 90 days, success will be defined by your ability to move beyond maintenance to proactive optimization. You will take full ownership of reporting cycles, introduce process improvements that enhance efficiency, and deliver data-driven commercial insights that influence leadership decision-making. Ultimately, you will have established a scalable financial framework that not only supports accurate and compliant reporting but also actively contributes to the agency s sustainable growth.
