Job Details

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Technical Office Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing architectural technical office activities, coordinating design and construction documentation, reviewing shop drawings, handling RFIs and material submittals, and ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable codes. Key Responsibilities Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Prepare and review technical submittals, material submissions, RFIs, and method statements. Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other disciplines. Identify design conflicts and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues. Review contractor/shop drawings and ensure compliance with approved design and project specifications. Prepare detailed architectural drawings, details, and technical solutions when required. Participate in design development, value engineering, and constructability reviews. Review and respond to technical queries and ensure timely closure of RFIs. Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost-related technical evaluations. Monitor design changes and maintain proper documentation and revision control. Support site teams with technical clarification and architectural problem-solving. Ensure architectural deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Mentor junior technical office engineers and support the development of the technical office team. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.7–10+ years of relevant experience in architectural technical office roles. Strong experience in construction documentation and architectural coordination. Excellent knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods. Proficiency in Auto CAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is highly preferred. Experience with shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, BOQs, and technical documentation. Strong understanding of architectural specifications and construction standards. Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under project deadlines.[Professional registration/certification, if applicable.]Preferred Qualifications Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects. Strong BIM/Revit coordination experience. Previous experience working with international consultants or major contractors. Knowledge of local building codes and authority requirements. Experience with Primavera P6 / MS Project and project document-control systems is an advantage.
