We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Engineer to join our construction team. The Plumbing Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating plumbing works on site, ensuring that installations are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor the installation of water supply, drainage, sanitary, and stormwater systems.
Review and interpret MEP/plumbing drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
Ensure plumbing works are executed according to approved drawings and required quality standards.
Coordinate plumbing activities with civil, architectural, electrical, HVAC, and other site works.
Check pipe routes, levels, slopes, locations, and dimensions before and during installation.
Supervise contractors and subcontractors and monitor their daily progress.
Inspect materials and installed works to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Perform or review quantity takeoffs and BOQ measurements when required.
Follow up on testing, inspection, and commissioning of plumbing systems.
Prepare site reports, inspection requests, and other required project documentation.
Identify technical issues and coordinate with the project team to resolve them efficiently.
Ensure compliance with project safety and quality requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
2–5 years of experience in plumbing/MEP construction works.
Good practical experience in plumbing site execution.
Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage, sanitary, and stormwater systems.
Ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
Understanding of pipe sizing, drainage slopes, and hydraulic calculations.
Experience in site supervision and coordination with different disciplines.
Knowledge of BOQ, quantity takeoff, and material specifications is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to work on construction sites.
