Key Responsibilities: Charting the Course

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of procurement and logistics operations, setting strategic direction and operational goals for your section.

  • Supplier Excellence: Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal terms, quality, and delivery performance.

  • Contract Negotiation Mastery: Spearhead complex contract negotiations, securing favorable agreements that align with company objectives and drive value.

  • Logistics Optimization: Oversee and optimize logistics workflows, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation, to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Team Empowerment: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience in a dynamic global environment.

  • Performance & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor performance, and provide insightful reports to senior management.

Requirements

  • Academic Excellence: A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a closely related field from a reputable institution.

  • Experienced Navigator: A minimum of 5 years of progressive professional experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

  • Leadership Caliber: A proven track record at a Manager level, demonstrating strategic thinking, strong decision-making capabilities, and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.

  • Strong overall Management capabilities.

  • Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Logistics Operations.
