Role Description The Blockchain Consultant role at Vitta Gems is a full-time, remote position focused on advising on blockchain and distributed ledger solutions for asset-backed digital products. On a day-to-day basis, the consultant will assess business requirements, design blockchain architectures aligned with the VGMG framework, and recommend optimal approaches for tokenization, stablecoin-like structures, and secure asset management. The role involves conducting technical and market research on cryptocurrency and blockchain trends, evaluating cryptographic mechanisms, and collaborating with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure secure, scalable implementations. The consultant will also prepare documentation, present recommendations to stakeholders, support integration with existing systems, and help define best practices for security, transparency, and regulatory alignment.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), including architecture, consensus mechanisms, and smart contracts. Experience with Cryptocurrency markets and asset-backed digital tokens, including stablecoin-like models and token economics. Understanding of Cryptography principles and practices as applied to secure transactions, identity, and data integrity in blockchain systems. Consulting skills, including requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder communication, and delivery of clear technical and business recommendations. Hands-on experience with at least one major blockchain platform (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Hyperledger, or similar). Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with fintech, digital assets, or financial services regulatory considerations is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Comfort working in a remote, distributed team environment and managing priorities across multiple projects.
