The opportunity

As a Junior AI Consultant or AI Consultant based in Cairo, Egypt, you will support AI transformation, AI governance, and AI adoption and implementation support engagements across government and enterprise clients. This role is designed for professionals with 2 5 years of experience who are eager to strengthen practical consulting, AI governance, and emerging technology capabilities while contributing to high-impact programs across Egypt and the wider MENA region.

Your key responsibilities

As a Junior AI Consultant or AI Consultant, you will support the development of AI governance frameworks, operating models, policies, standards, procedures, and control documentation. Depending on your experience level, you may also take ownership of defined workstreams, contribute to AI maturity assessments, and support alignment with relevant regional and international AI governance frameworks, including responsible AI principles, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, and, where applicable, Saudi AI-related frameworks such as the Saudi National AI Index (NAII) and SDAIA AI Ethics Principles.

You will assist in identifying, assessing, and documenting AI and Generative AI use cases across business functions, including GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent assistants, OCR, automation, and predictive analytics. You will also support AI platform and technology benchmarking, vendor assessments, solution evaluations, and related analysis, with the opportunity to manage specific tasks or work packages based on your experience.

You will contribute to Responsible AI controls, AI risk management activities, model lifecycle governance, documentation, and compliance support. You will work with business, technology, risk, compliance, data, and security teams to prepare AI strategies, implementation roadmaps, governance deliverables, executive materials, and practical adoption plans.

You will also support awareness, training, and knowledge transfer activities related to AI adoption, helping prepare materials that explain responsible implementation, business value, risks, and operational considerations in a clear and client-friendly way.

Preferred knowledge and technical exposure

Exposure to AI governance, AI transformation, digital transformation, technology strategy, data governance, privacy, or information security projects.

Familiarity with AI governance and risk frameworks such as NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management Systems, SDAIA AI Ethics Principles, NAII, and international Responsible AI practices.

Required technical familiarity with core AI concepts, data analytics, Python or SQL basics, Power BI or similar reporting tools, and common cloud or AI platform concepts.

Preferred hands-on exposure to Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, machine learning frameworks, cloud platforms, MLOps, AI lifecycle management, RAG, intelligent assistants, OCR, automation, or predictive analytics.

Interest in learning how to translate business needs into AI opportunities, practical use cases, governance controls, roadmaps, and implementation plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

To qualify for the role, you must have

2 5 years of relevant experience in AI and analytics, Data and AI consulting, digital transformation, emerging technologies, technology strategy, data governance, or related advisory roles. Candidates may be considered for Junior AI Consultant or AI Consultant level depending on their experience, technical exposure, and consulting maturity.

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Foundational understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI risk management, AI strategy, and AI operating models.

Awareness of AI governance, Responsible AI, data governance, privacy, information security, and regulatory considerations across Egypt and the wider MENA region.

Ability to support AI use case identification, AI maturity assessments, technology benchmarking, vendor assessments, solution evaluations, and AI implementation roadmap development.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, report writing, presentation, and PowerPoint development skills.

Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language capability is an advantage for Egypt-based and regional client engagements.
