Company Description Al Safwa High Institute of Engineering is a higher education institution that offers Bachelor of Engineering degrees across multiple disciplines. Role Description The Architect will be responsible for designing and reviewing architectural projects, preparing drawings and specifications, and supporting the integration of modern design technologies within the institute’s academic and operational environment. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with faculty and administrative teams on campus facilities and studios, contributing to architectural curricula and design workshops, and ensuring that projects align with safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards. The role also involves coordinating with engineering disciplines, managing project timelines and documentation, and providing guidance to students in architectural design practices as needed. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a combination of on-site presence at Al Safwa High Institute of Engineering and some work-from-home flexibility. Qualifications Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop and review conceptual and detailed designs. Experience in Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools, BIM platforms, and digital design workflows. Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of architectural and engineering projects. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field. Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with building codes and standards. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and support students and colleagues. Experience in academic or educational environments is an advantage, along with an interest in mentoring and knowledge sharing. Ability to work in a hybrid model, managing responsibilities both on campus in Cairo and remotely with reliability and accountability.
