Position: Project Manager Location: Benghazi (Libya)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 15+ years in large-scale building construction, responsible for leading projects from initiation to completion. Oversees planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Strong expertise in construction methodologies, design coordination, building materials, finishing work, firefighting systems, QA/QC, and building codes is essential.
Responsibilities:Lead and manage large-scale construction projects, including public buildings, airports, and hospitals, from planning through completion. Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and financial performance while ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors, review drawings, specifications, quotations, change orders, and invoices, and ensure compliance with QA/QC, safety standards, and building codes. Possess strong expertise in CSA works, MEP coordination, construction materials, finishing, firefighting systems, and design processes. Drive operational efficiency through effective risk management, resource planning, and performance monitoring while providing regular project and financial reports. Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Revit, Auto CAD, and other project management tools. Construction specialist; strong expertise in CSA, MEP coordination, project controls, & delivery execution. Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports, and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables. Strong and comprehensive understanding of construction materials, including material selection, cost efficiency, compliance with specifications and quality standards. Experienced in project management, with a detailed understanding of design process, building codes, and technical aspects of architecture.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years of experience managing large-scale building construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, architectural and engineering design processes, finishing works, MEP coordination, firefighting systems, and applicable building codes. Demonstrated expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and cost control. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and other relevant project management and construction software.
