- Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.- Operate and maintain conveyor belts used in sorting cargos, ensuring continuous operation at maximum efficiency.- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, identify causes of faults, and take appropriate corrective actions.- Conduct inspection, lubrication, adjustment, calibration, and replacement of spare parts necessary to maintain equipment efficiency and extend its life.- Rapid response to equipment and conveyor belt faults, implementing necessary repairs with minimal downtime.- Monitor equipment and production line performance, and report any issues affecting operational efficiency. - Implement preventive maintenance programs according to approved plans and schedules.- Read and understand engineering drawings, electrical and mechanical schematics, and use them during maintenance work.- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and occupational safety standards during maintenance work.- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure continuity of workflow and minimize any impact on cargo sorting operations.- Document maintenance and repair work performed, and report needs for spare parts or equipment.
