Role Description The Business Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, and supporting the studio’s growth in architecture, interior, landscape, and urban projects. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential markets, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating with design teams to align project offerings with client needs, and tracking leads from initial contact through closing. The role also includes contributing to sales strategies, attending client meetings and industry events, and providing analytical insights to improve business performance and client acquisition.
Qualifications
Strong Business Development and New Business Development skills, with experience identifying opportunities and nurturing client relationships. Sales and Communication skills to present services clearly, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Analytical Skills to assess markets, evaluate project feasibility, and interpret data to support strategic decisions. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, business, or a related field. Understanding of the architecture, design, or construction industry is highly beneficial. Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or sales tracking tools. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple opportunities in parallel. Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
