Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement scalable end-to-end IoT solutions and architectures. Lead firmware development and IoT device integration activities. Develop and integrate IoT solutions using protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP. Ensure IoT device, platform, and data security across all layers, including authentication, encryption, and certificates. Integrate IoT platforms with enterprise backend systems and applications. Design and develop backend services and microservices supporting IoT ecosystems. Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues. Participate in solution architecture reviews and contribute to technical decision-making. Support UAT, production rollout, deployment, and post-production optimization. Maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and system design specifications. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software, cloud, infrastructure, and business teams. Mentor junior engineers and conduct code and technical design reviews. Contribute to CI/CD and Dev Ops practices to improve development and deployment processes. Monitor and optimize IoT platforms, services, and real-time data processing pipelines.
Technical Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end IoT architecture and solution design. Very good knowledge of IoT protocols, including MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP. Very good experience in Embedded Systems Programming using C/C++ and Python. Very good experience with Cloud IoT Platforms, preferably AWS IoT and/or Azure IoT. Strong experience in Backend Development and Microservices Architecture. Strong knowledge of databases, including Time-Series, SQL, and NoSQL databases. Very good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration. Good understanding of networking and IoT connectivity technologies, including LTE, NB-IoT, and LoRaWAN.
