The Digital Communications Manager leads the digital communications pillar across the entire SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises portfolio. This role owns brand voice, editorial standards, and owned-channel performance across the portfolio in Egypt, Zanzibar, Greece, and Morocco. Manages a team of specialists covering SUNRISE, Grand Select, Meraki, Unique Concepts, and Art of Food & Entertainment each brand with distinct audiences, tones, and editorial standards. The position calls for editorial authority, the discipline to hold quality under volume pressure, and the judgment to keep the brand voices distinct while the group scales.


Responsibilities

  • Own the digital communications strategy across all brand accounts and markets.
  • Set the editorial calendar and content standards for the team, and enforce them at the review stage.
  • Define what quality means for each brand and hold that standard as volume grows.
  • Line-manage five digital communications specialists
  • Set individual objectives, run performance reviews, and develop capability across the team.
  • Review and approve all content prior to publication across all accounts.
  • Brief and manage the creative team on designed asset requirements, and own the quality of each brief.
  • Oversee newsletter strategy across brands: frequency, segmentation, tone, and performance.
  • Govern website content accuracy and brand consistency across all property pages.
  • Confirm that every released asset reflects brand guidelines and commercial positioning.
  • Own the influencer partnership framework and approval process across all brands.
  • Set brand-specific selection criteria, matching each partner to the audience and positioning of the account.
  • Approve contracts, deliverables, and hosting arrangements, and enforce agreed output.
  • Coordinate with the PR function on announcement sequencing and brand narrative alignment.
  • Own owned-channel performance across all accounts: reach, engagement, growth, and contribution to direct traffic.
  • Report channel performance monthly with written insight and a recommended course of action.
  • Monitor social listening, competitor activity, and platform changes, and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Maintain community management standards and the escalation protocol for sensitive guest communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
  • 6 8 years of experience in digital communications, social media, or content, including at least 2 years managing a team.
  • Proven multi-brand experience, preferably within hospitality, travel, or lifestyle.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain distinct brand voices across a portfolio.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the authority to hold work to a defined standard.
  • Advanced understanding of social media analytics, social listening, and performance optimization.
  • Experience managing influencer programs at scale, including contracting and approvals.
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with Arabic fluency required.
