Equipped with advanced mixing machines, spray equipment, and modern color-matching tools, Egypt Colors produces thousands of customized formulas annually. Its work covers a wide range of solvent-borne technologies for the automotive refinish market and general industrial coatings, while remaining adaptable to new technologies and application techniques. Over more than 17 years, Egypt Colors has delivered large-scale projects including color-matching tool development, reformulations, cost optimization, and precise reproduction of client material samples.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site collaboration role based at Egypt Colors’ laboratory in El Sadat City. The collaborator will work closely with the technical and laboratory teams to support color formulation, color-matching, and quality control activities for automotive and industrial coating projects. Day-to-day tasks may include participating in the development and adjustment of color formulas, testing and documenting results, and contributing to the optimization of existing products for performance and cost efficiency. The role will also involve assisting with project coordination, maintaining organized records of formulations and test data, and supporting communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. The collaborator is expected to adhere to laboratory safety standards, follow established procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in laboratory work, color measurement, and basic color-matching techniques, preferably within coatings or related industries. Candidates should possess skills in data recording, documentation, and use of laboratory tools or equipment to support consistent, traceable results. Candidates should possess skills in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and process optimization to help refine formulas and improve efficiency. Candidates should possess skills in teamwork, clear communication, and collaboration with technical staff and project stakeholders. Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in chemistry, materials science, coatings technology, or a related technical field would be beneficial. Prior experience in automotive refinish, industrial coatings, or color laboratories, as well as familiarity with safety and quality standards, would be advantageous.
