Production Manager to oversee production operations at a plastic injection molding plant. Workplace: Al-Obour City, First Industrial Zone. Job type: Full-time Working hours: Saturday to Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Friday off). Job overview: We are looking for a Production Manager (Mechanical Engineer) with experience in managing and operating plastic injection molding plants, capable of leading work teams to achieve production targets efficiently and with high quality, while ensuring compliance with operating plans, reducing waste, and continuously improving operational performance. Tasks and responsibilities: - Full supervision of daily production operations inside the plastic injection molding plant. - Prepare and implement production plans and monitor achievement of operational targets. - Manage production teams, distribute tasks, and monitor performance. - Monitor operation of plastic injection machines and ensure efficiency and reduce downtime. - Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments to ensure continuity of production. - Monitor product quality and compliance with required specifications. - Monitor raw material consumption, reduce waste, and improve production efficiency. - Analyze performance and productivity indicators and develop plans for continuous improvement. - Monitor implementation of safety and occupational health standards within the plant. - Prepare periodic reports and submit to management. - Participate in developing procedures and improving production processes. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent. - At least 7 years of practical production experience (preferably with prior managerial experience). - Prior experience in plastic injection molding plants is essential. - Good knowledge of production planning and industrial operations management. - Ability to lead teams and make decisions. - Problem-solving and operational performance improvement skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience preferred. - Ability to work under pressure to achieve production targets.
