Job Role Summary:
Deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests by providing attentive, efficient, and gracious service. The waiter ensures all guests feel welcome and fully satisfied with the quality of the food and service.
Responsibilities:
Greeting and seating guests: Welcome visitors upon arrival in a professional and friendly manner and direct them to their seats.
Menu explanation: Present the menu, suggest dishes, and answer guests' inquiries about ingredients and specials.
Taking orders: Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them quickly to the kitchen and bar.
Serving: Serve dishes and drinks in a timely manner and in a courteous manner.
Follow-up: Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit and promptly address any complaint or request.
Billing: Complete payments accurately and comply with cash handling procedures.
Table management: Clean and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
Cleanliness and order: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room at all times.
General standards: Adherence to personal hygiene standards, safety rules, and overall appearance.
Teamwork: Support colleagues to ensure smooth operation, especially during peak times.
Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience as a waiter or in any customer service-related field preferred.
Skills: Strong communication skills and tact when dealing with others.
Personal traits: Positive energy, team spirit, and passion for customer service.
Flexibility: Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
