This position is based in Cairo, Egypt, where you will join our Engineering team and contribute to the successful delivery of regional Power & Energy projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the civil and structural design of HV/MV/EHV Substation projects. Design control buildings, GIS buildings, equipment foundations, cable trenches, retaining walls, roads, drainage systems, and associated civil infrastructure. Perform structural analysis and prepare design calculations in accordance with international codes and project specifications. Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, design calculations, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Coordinate with Electrical, Primary, Secondary, Mechanical, BIM, and Project Engineering teams to ensure integrated design solutions. Review engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. Provide technical support during construction, resolve engineering issues, and respond to RFIs. Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 7 years of experience in Civil/Structural Design. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HV/MV/EHV Substation Design. Strong knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, and IEC standards. Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Auto CAD, and Revit. Experience in EPC projects is highly desirable. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English (written and spoken).
