Role Description The دكتور بيطري / Veterinarian is a full-time, on-site role based in Markaz Wady El Natron, supporting Tropitel Group’s hospitality operations that involve animals and livestock. This role includes performing routine and emergency medical examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments, and ensuring the overall health and welfare of animals on the property. The veterinarian will oversee vaccination schedules, parasite control, nutrition plans, and hygiene standards, while maintaining accurate medical records and complying with local regulations and animal welfare guidelines. Daily responsibilities also involve monitoring animal environments, advising management on biosecurity and disease prevention, training staff on safe animal handling, and collaborating with operations teams to support guest experiences that involve animals safely and ethically.
Qualifications
Veterinary medicine expertise, including clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventive care for small and/or large animals. Strong skills in animal health monitoring, vaccination programs, parasite control, and implementation of biosecurity and hygiene protocols. Ability to perform routine procedures and minor interventions, manage emergencies, and coordinate with external veterinary laboratories or specialists when needed. Proficiency in medical record keeping, documentation of treatments and outcomes, and adherence to relevant animal welfare and regulatory standards. Effective communication skills to educate and train non-medical staff, explain care plans clearly, and collaborate with hospitality and operations teams. Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure, with attention to detail and a focus on safety for animals, guests, and staff. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent veterinary degree) from an accredited institution; valid local veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one. Previous experience in farm, zoo, resort, or hospitality-related animal care settings is an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Markaz Wady El Natron, including flexibility for on-call
