Support implementation of SLB HSE Management System (HSE MS) and SLB HSE standards in Egypt operations/facilities; ensure legal compliance, effective risk management, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor SLB HSE MS requirements, procedures, and Life Saving Rules at site/country level.
- Perform HSE risk assessments (HIRA/JSA), verify controls, and support safe work planning.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance checks; track and close actions.
- Lead/support incident and near miss reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and lessons learned.
- Deliver/coordinate HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and competence/training plans.
- Support emergency preparedness (ERP), drills, and crisis readiness.
- Support environmental compliance (waste/chemical management, spill prevention, permits/records).
- Manage contractor HSE interfaces (prequalification, site controls, monitoring).
- Maintain HSE documentation, metrics/KPIs, and monthly reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering / Science / Environmental / Occupational Health and Safety (or related).
- NEBOSH IGC (mandatory) or equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification.
- Advantage: ISO 45001/14001 internal auditor, IOSH, incident investigation/risk assessment training.
Experience:
- 3 5+ years HSE experience in oil & gas, energy services, industrial operations, or similar high risk environments.
- Hands on experience with audits/inspections, incident investigations, and HSE training.
- Familiarity with Egyptian HSE regulatory environment preferred.
Skills:
- Strong risk management and field coaching/communication.
- Solid report writing and data/KPI tracking; proficient in MS Office.
- Able to work across multicultural teams and influence without authority.
Languages:
- English: fluent (written & spoken)
- Arabic: fluent (written & spoken)
Mobility:
- Based in Alexandria but able to travel to sites within Egypt as required.
