Job Details

  • Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across the facility.

  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company standards.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare reports with recommended preventive actions.

  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness training for employees and contractors.

  • Monitor compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe work practices.

  • Support the implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and other safety control systems.

  • Ensure emergency response procedures are established, communicated, and periodically tested.

  • Monitor environmental practices, waste management, and compliance with environmental requirements.

  •  Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, training records, incident statistics, and corrective action tracking.

  • Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Management teams to improve workplace safety performance.

  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture and reduce workplace risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3+ years of industrial safety experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial facilities.

  • Valid HSE certification such as:

  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – preferred.

  • IOSH Managing Safely – preferred.

  •   Good knowledge of industrial safety standards, risk assessment, and accident investigation techniques.

  •  Familiarity with local occupational health and safety regulations and international HSE practices.
