JOB TITLE
Senior Manager Infrastructure | MAF Properties | Communities Development Egypt
ROLE SUMMARY
The infrastructure Senior Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of site-wide infrastructure projects, overseeing design management, authority approvals, consultant and utility coordination, tendering, and construction interfaces to ensure infrastructure packages are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and development standards.
ROLE PROFILE
- Develop and manage infrastructure programs, ensuring delivery against approved timelines and project milestones.
- Lead infrastructure design coordination from concept through detailed design, tender documentation, and authority approvals.
- Manage consultants, prepare scopes of work and RFPs, and monitor performance against project requirements and deliverables.
- Coordinate with utility providers, authorities, development, design, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee infrastructure interfaces across roads, bridges, public realm, plot developments, and wet & dry utility networks.
- Support cost planning, budgeting, value engineering, tender evaluations, and procurement activities.
- Monitor project risks, approvals, dependencies, and provide regular reporting and management updates.
- Ensure successful delivery of infrastructure packages through effective stakeholder management, budget control, and coordination between design, procurement, and construction phases.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 8+ years of infrastructure design and project coordination experience, with mandatory Egypt experience and exposure to large mixed-use or masterplan developments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; postgraduate qualifications and professional certifications are advantageous.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of infrastructure planning, design, authority approvals, and roads, bridges, civil, wet, and dry utility networks.
- Project & Commercial Acumen: Experience in infrastructure procurement, tendering, budget monitoring, financial management, and project reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to coordinate with authorities, utility providers, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Core Competencies: Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, planning, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Primavera, Microsoft Project, and similar project management tools.
