Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
Identify potential suppliers based on Plant requirements.
Negotiate contracts and deals, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing.
Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production.
Process purchase orders to acquire goods.
Work closely with the stakeholder’s department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company.
Cover the scope of Raw materials, Energy, Production services, Spare parts & General services.
Apply the requirements of the customs authorities as free zone company.
Requirements
Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree.
From 6-9 years’ experience in the procurement field.
Proven working experience as a Procurement Section Head
Master's degree in purchasing management preferred.
Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions.
Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
