Role Description:Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the production process, including equipment malfunctions and workflow disruptions. Implement immediate corrective actions to minimize production delays and maintain continuous operations. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of equipment Monitor daily operations of the production line to ensure all processes are executed correctly and on time. Oversee the efficiency of machines and workers, ensuring high productivity and minimal downtime. Conduct regular inspections of the production line to identify and address any issues promptly Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards by conducting regular quality checks. Work closely with the quality control team to implement necessary inspections and tests. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Set and achieve production goals with the highest efficiency and speed. Work on improving and developing production processes to increase productivity and reduce the time required to produce containers. Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to enhance performance. Collect and analyze performance data related to glass container production. Prepare periodic reports for senior management on production and quality levels, and any challenges faced by the line. Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related field). Minimum of 3years of experience in Production Engineering with hands-on experience in glass manufacturing or related process industries Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with mold design and maintenance. Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and compliance standards. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced industrial environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with ERP or production management systems is an advantage. Analytical skills to interpret production data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Production Planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with supply chain or maintenance teams. Effective Communication skills for collaborating with operations, maintenance, quality, and management teams.
