Job Vacancy: Deputy Maintenance Manager
Al Shaheen Trading & Industry is seeking to hire a qualified Deputy Maintenance Manager to join our team.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field).* 5–6 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.* Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.* Experience in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement annual preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all production lines and facility equipment, including shearing machines, presses, forming machines, welding lines, powder coating systems, ovens, ammonia units, air compressors, and related equipment.* Supervise daily maintenance activities and ensure rapid response to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.* Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement root-cause solutions in coordination with mechanical, electrical, and automation teams.* Prepare detailed maintenance schedules for critical equipment such as presses, powder coating machines, conveyors, stacking systems, and ovens.* Coordinate with the Production Department to prioritize maintenance activities without affecting production schedules.* Monitor critical spare parts inventory, including motors, gearboxes, sensors, PLC systems, and bearings, ensuring adequate stock availability.* Supervise calibration programs and ensure the accuracy of measuring and control devices related to production and quality.* Implement and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance systems, including TPM and CMMS.* Monitor equipment energy consumption and work with relevant departments to improve operational efficiency.* Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering breakdowns, downtime, maintenance costs, completion rates, and team performance.* Lead, develop, and manage mechanical, electrical, and technical maintenance teams while assigning tasks according to priorities.* Ensure strict compliance with industrial safety standards during all maintenance activities.* Participate in plant expansion projects and new production line installations, including commissioning and testing activities.* Propose equipment upgrades and improvement plans to increase efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and minimize breakdowns.* Develop annual maintenance programs and schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.* Monitor machine performance and analyze recurring failures to implement permanent corrective actions.* Coordinate maintenance schedules with production management to ensure uninterrupted operations.* Monitor spare parts and maintenance tools inventory and submit purchase requests when necessary.* Develop and update maintenance procedures and technical instructions in compliance with quality and safety standards.* Establish emergency maintenance plans to address critical breakdowns and reduce production interruptions.* Prepare and monitor the annual maintenance budget and analyze variances.* Supervise installation and start-up activities for new equipment in cooperation with suppliers and technical teams.* Follow up on training and development programs for maintenance technicians to enhance their technical competencies.* Prepare periodic reports for top management regarding maintenance performance, downtime, completion rates, and maintenance costs.* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing production line efficiency.* Train newly hired employees and submit performance evaluation reports to the HR Department after the training period.* Ensure full implementation of Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures within the department and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
