Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hurghada. The Sales Associate will welcome customers, provide product information, and guide shoppers to suitable items that meet their needs. Daily tasks include handling retail sales transactions, operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining visual merchandising and stock displays, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the sales area. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering courteous, proactive customer service to travelers from diverse backgrounds. The Sales Associate will also support inventory checks, restocking, and promotional activities to help achieve store sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers in a professional and welcoming manner Provide product information and recommendations (fragrances, cosmetics, alcohol, tobacco, confectionery, luxury goods) Handle cash, credit card, and multi-currency transactions accurately Maintain store cleanliness, display standards, and stock levels Process sales in compliance with duty-free regulations and airport security rules Support inventory checks and replenishment Achieve sales targets and promote special offers
Qualifications:Previous experience in the same role within the Retail industry. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication in English; additional languages are an advantage. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet and exceed store targets. Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge skills to explain features, benefits, and promotions clearly to customers. Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and attention to detail in handling cash and merchandise. Candidates must be currently based in Hurghada.
