Wet Utilities Technical Office Engineer
Location: North Coast, Egypt
Job Summary
We are seeking a Wet Utilities Technical Office Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support the planning and execution of infrastructure projects involving potable water, sewerage, stormwater drainage, irrigation, and firefighting networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, quantity take-offs, material submittals, technical documentation, and coordinating with site teams to ensure smooth project execution in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction details for wet utility infrastructure works.
Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from drawings and project specifications.
Prepare material submittals, technical submittals, RFIs, and method statements.
Coordinate with site engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure proper implementation of approved drawings.
Review IFC drawings, contract documents, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding technical matters.
Track drawing revisions and maintain technical documentation.
Support procurement by preparing material requests and verifying quantities.
Assist in preparing monthly progress reports and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and quality standards.
Participate in value engineering and technical solutions to optimize project execution.
