Role Description The Sr Architect Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Obour. This role involves leading the design and development of architectural concepts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, ensuring functional, aesthetic, and regulatory compliance. The Sr Architect Design Engineer will prepare and review drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation, coordinating with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to align designs with project objectives and timelines. Responsibilities include overseeing design integration with structural and MEP systems, resolving technical issues, and supporting value engineering decisions. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, participating in client and stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that designs adhere to company standards and local building regulations.
Qualifications
Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, with proven experience delivering complex real estate projects. Experience with Integration between architectural, structural, and MEP designs to ensure cohesive and buildable solutions. Knowledge of Software Development concepts and related design tools where relevant to BIM, CAD, and digital collaboration workflows. Demonstrated Project Management abilities, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of design phases and multidisciplinary teams. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, BIM tools) and familiarity with local codes and regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and quality. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders on-site. Previous experience in large-scale residential or commercial developments in Egypt is highly beneficial.
