About the Opportunity
A Confidential Family Office is seeking an exceptional Personal Development Coach for a Young Adult to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a young adult family member.
The role requires exceptional maturity, emotional intelligence, flexibility, discretion, and the ability to build a trusted long-term relationship within a highly professional private family environment.
This is not a traditional personal assistant role. It is a unique long-term opportunity for a trusted professional to act as a mentor, coach, organiser, and positive role model, supporting the personal growth, independence, confidence, emotional maturity, and overall development of a young adult family member.
The successful candidate will work closely with the family in a private, discreet, and highly professional environment, with frequent international travel required.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide structured daily support, mentoring, and personal development guidance.• Support the young adult in developing confidence, independence, emotional intelligence, discipline, and executive functioning skills.• Assist with planning daily routines, personal goals, schedules, travel, learning activities, and lifestyle structure.• Encourage healthy habits, time management, organisation, accountability, and positive decision-making.• Act as a trusted companion, mentor, and role model in day-to-day activities.• Support social, educational, and personal development opportunities.• Support the development of social confidence, independence, healthy routines, and everyday life skills.• Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, discretion, and trust at all times.• Coordinate with family members, tutors, coaches, therapists, household staff, or external service providers when required.• Accompany the young adult family member during international travel and provide consistent support throughout trips.• Monitor progress and provide thoughtful feedback to the family when appropriate.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be mature, emotionally intelligent, patient, discreet, organised, and highly reliable. This role requires someone who can combine warmth and empathy with structure, professionalism, flexibility, and strong personal boundaries.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.• 5–15 years of relevant professional experience.• Background in psychology, education, special education, occupational therapy, behavioural science, human development, executive coaching, social work, or a related field.• Previous experience working with young adults is strongly preferred.• Experience in private family environments, family offices, or high-discretion settings is an advantage.• Fluent English is required.• Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.• Willingness to relocate to Cairo, Egypt.• Availability for frequent international travel.
