A leading company in metal forming and scrap trading announces its desire to hire a competent and trustworthy Storekeeper to join our team in Zefta, Gharbia Governorate.

You will be fully responsible for managing metal and scrap inventory, supervising weighing and sorting operations, and accurately recording all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Job duties and responsibilities:
Receiving and sorting scrap: Inspect incoming metal shipments and accurately classify them by material type (iron, copper, aluminum, etc.).
Supervision of weighing operations: Monitor and verify shipment weights on Bascul scales or floor scales, and document all figures accurately.
Inventory control: Manually and electronically register all warehouse receipts and disbursements to prevent shortages or waste.
Supervision of loading and unloading: Direct workers and equipment operators (such as forklift drivers) when handling heavy metal materials.
Periodic inventory: Conduct regular and surprise stock counts to match weights and actual quantities with system records.
Health and safety: Strict adherence to occupational health and safety rules due to the nature of sharp and heavy industrial metal materials.
