Role Description The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems and components for a variety of projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Giza and involves overseeing mechanical design activities, preparing detailed engineering documentation, and reviewing CAD models and drawings. The role includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, guiding junior engineers, and ensuring that designs meet client specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical reviews, supporting R&D initiatives, managing project timelines, and participating in site visits or inspections as needed. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts and provide technical input during client meetings and presentations.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex mechanical systems and components. Proficiency in Machine Design, including selection of materials, mechanisms, and design for manufacturability and reliability. Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, reviewing, and updating 3D models and detailed engineering drawings. Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and maintaining project documentation. Background in Research and Development (R&D), with capability to evaluate new technologies, perform technical studies, and support innovation initiatives. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Relevant industry experience in a senior or lead mechanical engineering role, preferably within consulting, industrial, or construction environments. Ability to mentor junior engineers, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders. Familiarity with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines on-site in Giza.
