Role Description The Kids English Teacher role at SYE English Community is a full-time, on-site position based in Giza. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English lessons for children, using interactive activities, games, and stories to build language skills and confidence. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, adapting instruction to different learning levels, monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will also communicate regularly with parents or guardians, maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum. Additional duties may include participating in training sessions, workshops, and community events organized by SYE.
Qualifications
Strong skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with a passion for working with children and supporting diverse learning needs. Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing age-appropriate, engaging, and structured learning activities. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and supportive manner. Fluent or highly proficient in spoken and written English. Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent teaching experience. Experience teaching children in classroom or extracurricular settings; prior experience in language centers is an advantage. Ability to manage a classroom, maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, and use positive behavior management strategies. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and to incorporate feedback into teaching practice.
