Job Summary:Manage and maintain server infrastructure.
Job duties & responsibilities:Server Hardware and Operating System Management:Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux). Perform regular server maintenance, including patching, updates, and hardware diagnostics. Virtualization Management:Deploy and manage virtual machines, storage. Monitor virtualization performance and optimize resource utilization. Storage Management:Manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS, DAS), ensuring data availability and integrity. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:Utilize monitoring tools to track server health and performance. Respond to alerts and resolve server-related issues in a timely manner. Maintain detailed logs of server issues and resolutions. Documentation and Reporting:Create and maintain accurate documentation of server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate regular reports on server performance and availability. Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories.
Job qualifications:3-6 years in relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in, Information technology business or related field.
