Role Overview
The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a suite of web applications and digital products by leading functional, regression, and exploratory testing efforts. This is a manual QA-focused position that does not require coding skills but does demand strong technical competency, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally within an agile development team.
Fully Remote (Work from Home) | 9AM - 5PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Functional, Regression, and Exploratory Testing
Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple web applications and products.
Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test suites to ensure full coverage.
Bug Tracking and Defect Management
Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
Validate fixes and perform re-testing to confirm defect resolution and ensure no regressions are introduced.
Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to clarify requirements and uphold product quality standards.
Provide clear, structured reporting on test progress, coverage, and results to relevant stakeholders.
Automation Support (No Coding Required)
Assist with testing automation by helping maintain and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Bring a technical understanding of automation concepts without the need to write or modify code.
Process Improvement
Qualifications - Experience
2+ years of experience on a QA or software testing team.
Hands-on experience testing web applications, including UI/UX validation.
Demonstrated ability to write and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
Familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress — coding is not required.
Nice to have: API testing experience using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
Nice to have: Exposure to version control systems like git/GitHub for understanding product changes.
Nice to have: Knowledge of accessibility testing standards such as WCAG.
