This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

With a growing suite of web applications and digital products, their engineering team is focused on delivering high-quality, reliable software experiences at scale.


Role Overview


The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a suite of web applications and digital products by leading functional, regression, and exploratory testing efforts. This is a manual QA-focused position that does not require coding skills but does demand strong technical competency, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally within an agile development team.


Fully Remote (Work from Home) | 9AM - 5PM EST


Key Responsibilities


Functional, Regression, and Exploratory Testing


  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple web applications and products.


  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test suites to ensure full coverage.


Bug Tracking and Defect Management


  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools such as Jira.


  • Validate fixes and perform re-testing to confirm defect resolution and ensure no regressions are introduced.


Collaboration and Communication


  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to clarify requirements and uphold product quality standards.


  • Provide clear, structured reporting on test progress, coverage, and results to relevant stakeholders.


Automation Support (No Coding Required)


  • Assist with testing automation by helping maintain and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.


  • Bring a technical understanding of automation concepts without the need to write or modify code.


Process Improvement


  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes and enhance overall product quality across the development lifecycle.


Qualifications - Experience


  • 2+ years of experience on a QA or software testing team.


  • Hands-on experience testing web applications, including UI/UX validation.


  • Demonstrated ability to write and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.


  • Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.


  • Familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress — coding is not required.


  • Nice to have: API testing experience using tools like Postman or Insomnia.


  • Nice to have: Exposure to version control systems like git/GitHub for understanding product changes.


  • Nice to have: Knowledge of accessibility testing standards such as WCAG.
