Roles & Responsibilities
Intertrade Co. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QHSE Specialist / Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team.
The role will support Quality, Health, Safety & Environment activities across production operations while contributing to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and ISO system implementation within the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support preparation and implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems
- Prepare for external audits, certification audits, and customer audits
- Attend customer audits and support closing observations and findings
- Prepare corrective action plans and ensure proper implementation and follow-up
- Create, update, and improve SOPs, Work Instructions, Checklists, Forms, and QHSE documentation
- Monitor implementation and compliance of SOPs across production and operational departments
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections
- Follow up on non-conformities (NCRs), corrective actions (CAPA), and customer complaints
- Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments across factory areas
- Ensure proper implementation of PPE and safety procedures
- Monitor unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, and safety violations
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Support emergency preparedness activities, evacuation drills, and safety awareness initiatives
- Prepare quality, safety, environmental, and operational reports
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Support waste reduction, defect reduction, and process improvement projects
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to improve operational
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Engineering, Quality or related field
- 2 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, QHSE in manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of Quality Systems and HSE practices
- Experience with ISO systems, CAPA, inspections, and reporting
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Good command of English
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Factory/manufacturing experience is highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISO Internal Auditor Certification
- OSHA / NEBOSH Certification
- Experience in plastics, PVC, extrusion, or industrial manufacturing
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement tools
