Responsibilities:
Lead negotiations and finalize contracts for assigned materials, driving purchasing targets through strategic price, quantity, and delivery discussions. Track material price developments, co-drive technical ratio measures with development, and monitor effectiveness to hit reporting targets. Develop and maintain global material group strategies, manage supplier portfolios, and serve as technical SME. Run local sourcing teams and activities to select suppliers based on TCO, compare offers, and document decisions. Continuously scan global/local markets for innovations, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing strategies. Evaluate and onboard new suppliers in alignment with Supplier Quality Management to meet company standards. Negotiate, finalize, and archive contracts for assigned materials, ensuring favorable and compliant terms. Manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiate framework agreements, and handle escalations, risks and performance. Serve as the daily operational contact for suppliers to ensure performance and issue resolution. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Global Development, Supplier Quality Management, and other teams to align forecasting, sourcing, and product development decisions.
