Edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience. Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications. Review and select the best shots and sequences to create visually compelling stories. Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film. Incorporate visual effects, music, graphics, and animations to enhance the video's impact. Create rough and final cuts. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running. Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process. Discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, visual style, and brand guidelines. Regularly collaborate with the marketing team. Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy. Take charge of video ideation and creation, enhance video quality by adjusting colors, brightness, and contrast as needed. Ensure videos meet the marketing team’s specifications and guidelines. Implement creative notes from stakeholders and Evaluate projects for brand authenticity. Ensure proper pacing, timing, and rhythm to maintain the desired flow of the video. Perform audio mixing and sound editing to ensure optimal audio quality.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree related to Art, advertising, marketing, media, or Communications.
Experience: Proven experience of 1: 3 years of (Related Job Function / Industry / Experience). Please attach a portfolio or demo reel showcasing your previous video editing and montage work with your application.
