Job Purpose
Lead team to develop and implement mobile/desktop dashboards and provide end user’s self-services (Power User) to accelerate business analysis/reporting & decision making process.
Report To Position Name
- Assess dashboards/self-services requirements to communicate do-ability and delivery date.
- Develop dashboards to satisfy business requirements.
- Develop the user’s self-service capabilities (Power User semantic layer).
- Provide self-service training for end users.
- Coach, mentor and educate the team members to assure that they are technically qualified to do their job in the best and easiest way.
- Support other teams’ projects when required to achieve the overall department objectives.
- Handover dashboards/self-services to DWH Application Support to be able to support production issues.
- Provide second line of support for the production issues.
- Investigate issues reason/impact and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate with the team for issues resolution and required recovery.
- Supporting business users in exploring the data and discovering patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies and trends.
- Build and maintain online analytical processing (OLAP) models.
- Provide business consultancy in handling business questions & issues.
- Attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills necessary for the effective performance of the role.
