This entry-level position is specifically designed for recent graduates who want to kick-start their career in accounting and auditing. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from senior professionals, assisting them in reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, and learning standard audit methodologies from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in introductory training programmes to understand the company’s audit methodologies.
- Assist senior auditors in performing basic audit procedures and testing financial transactions.
- Verify data accuracy by checking invoices, receipts, and bank reconciliations against ledger records.
- Help in preparing and organising audit files and documentation (working papers).
- Observe and assist in physical inventory counts or asset verification when required.
- Learn to identify potential financial risks or compliance issues during day-to-day tasks.
