Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the procurement process of mechanical systems and materials, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery for our engineering and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for mechanical systems, equipment, and materials. • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors and subcontractors. • Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and industry standards. • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to forecast material needs. • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. • Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation. • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative materials. • Support tendering activities by preparing cost estimates and supplier quotations. • Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field). • Minimum 3–10 years of experience in procurement within construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects. • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and materials. • Proven negotiation and contract management skills. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. • Fluency in English is required.
