Job Title: Head of Performance and Recruitment Location: Agouza, Giza (with expected visits to company sites in delta) – On-site
About the Role Hashem Brothers Group is seeking a hands-on expert to join as Head of Performance and Recruitment, reporting directly to the CHRO. This is an individual contributor role for a senior specialist who can design and implement performance and recruitment frameworks and also personally execute, follow up, and deliver results on time.
Key Responsibilities Performance Management & KPIsTranslate group strategy into clear company, department, and individual objectives and cascaded KPIs across all entities. Design and run a structured performance management cycle (goal setting, mid-year review, annual appraisal) and ensure practical implementation, not only policy. Define and validate KPIs that reflect real business performance (financial, operational, and people metrics). Build simple tools/templates (dashboards, scorecards, forms) and define how data is collected and reported. Personally prepare and update performance reports and follow up with managers on gaps, corrective actions, and development plans. Data, Reporting & Follow-up Define data requirements and sources for performance tracking across HR, sales, production, and finance. Develop and maintain regular performance dashboards and reports for CHRO and senior management. Ensure data accuracy and consistency, and coordinate with IT/Finance where needed to automate reports. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Own the end-to-end recruitment process across the group (from requisition to onboarding) and personally manage key hires. Work closely with line managers to understand manpower needs, define job profiles, and agree on the selection criteria. Source candidates through Linked In, job boards, referrals, and networks; screen CVs, conduct interviews, and coordinate assessments. Standardize recruitment tools (job ads, interview guides, evaluation forms) and ensure consistent, professional candidate experience. Track and improve recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, probation success, etc.). Business Partnership & Ways of Working Act as an expert advisor to the CHRO and line managers on performance and recruitment matters. Coach managers on how to set objectives, give feedback, conduct appraisals, and make better hiring decisions. Ensure all performance and recruitment activities support a performance-driven, merit-based culture.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree with postgraduate studies in business and HRAt least 5 years of solid, hands-on experience in performance management, including designing or operating objective/KPI and appraisal systems. At least 5 years of solid, hands-on experience in recruitment/talent acquisition, managing end-to-end hiring for different levels and functions. Proven ability to work as an individual contributor: planning own work, executing tasks directly, and delivering outcomes without relying on a large team. Strong business understanding and ability to link KPIs and roles to business priorities and financial/operational results. Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with strong Excel skills .strong experience recruiting labors and white-collars as well. Strong time management, follow-up, and execution skills, with a track record of closing tasks and projects on time. Strong communication skills in Arabic and English, able to deal confidently with managers and candidates.
