Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Direct Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of direct materials and ensure the timely availability of products required for operations and production. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Handle the procurement process for direct materials and operational requirements. Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance. Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with vendors. Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules. Coordinate with warehouse, production, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations. Monitor stock levels and ensure material availability to avoid shortages. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing records. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in direct procurement or purchasing. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Very good command of English.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, construction, retail, or FMCG industries is a plus. Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
