Job Description

The candidate will supervise and inspect firefighting and plumbing (sewage, drainage, water supply) works for a transportation project.
Coordinate on a daily basis with the other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by the contractor and process the incoming inspection requests and perform the necessary actions.
Supervision of different plumbing and firefighting systems in different applications.
Inspecting pump rooms (firefighting and booster pumps, pipes, valves).
Responsible for material submittals for all firefighting and plumbing systems.
Testing and inspection of different plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, storm network, sewage).
Maintaining records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's university degree in mechanical engineering.
• Excellent command of English language is a must.
• 10 to 15 years' experience.
• Railway/metro experience is a plus.
• Site experience.
• Testing and commissioning experience is a must.
• Familiar with firefighting water systems (sprinkler, standpipe) as well as clean agent systems (FM200 and CO2) and foam systems.
• Experience in infrastructure networks for firefighting, water supply, drainage and sewage.
• Familiar with standards and international codes (Egyptian codes, IPC, NFPA, ASTM).
