Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead local and international sourcing initiatives to secure cost-effective and high-quality supplies.
  • Continuously analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and alternative materials.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
  • Negotiate supplier terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery and invoicing.
  • Ensure timely purchase of raw materials, machinery parts, and operational supplies to avoid production disruptions.
  • Collaborate closely with the production, quality, and logistics teams to forecast demand accurately.
  • Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product and service quality.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs including cost reduction, supplier lead times, and order accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Evaluate and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical and economic factors affecting international purchases.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for procurement staff.


Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Beni Suef residents are a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing both local and international purchasing in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, contracting, negotiation, and vendor management practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics.
