Design Leadership & Management Lead the interior design function for all hospitality and hotel projects from concept through execution. Develop and maintain interior design concepts, themes, and standards in line with brand guidelines. Review, approve, and coordinate design packages prepared by internal teams and external consultants. Hospitality & Brand Compliance Ensure all interior designs comply with hotel brand standards, international hospitality benchmarks, and operational requirements. Coordinate with hotel operators to ensure guest experience, functionality, and service flow are fully addressed. Maintain consistency across multiple hotel brands within the group. Project Coordination Coordinate with architects, MEP, FF&E, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of designs. Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical coordination meetings. Monitor design timelines to ensure alignment with overall project schedules. FF&E & Material Selection Oversee FF&E concepts, specifications, material selections, mock-ups, and samples. Ensure selected materials meet quality, durability, sustainability, and budget requirements. Support procurement teams with vendor evaluations and technical approvals. Site Follow-Up & Quality Control Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent is properly implemented. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and samples for compliance with approved designs. Address design-related issues during construction and handover stages. Team & Consultant Management Manage and mentor interior designers within the head office team. Appoint, manage, and evaluate external interior design consultants. Provide guidance, performance reviews, and professional development for the design team.
Main Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 12 years of experience in hotel and hospitality interior design. Proven experience managing large-scale hotel projects (luxury, resorts, mixed-use hospitality). Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest circulation, back-of-house requirements, and brand compliance. Extensive experience working with international hotel operators and brands. Proficiency in design and presentation software (Auto CAD, Revit, 3D Max, Adobe Suite, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
