The Project Engineer is responsible for leading the on-site installation of automatic door systems. This role bridges the gap between mechanical assembly and electronic control. The primary focus is ensuring that every project is executed according to technical standards, delivered within the agreed timeframe, and handed over to the client with 100% satisfaction.
Site Survey & Technical Review:
Conduct pre-installation site visits to verify dimensions and structural readiness.
Ensure electrical power points and mounting surfaces meet the required specifications for motor installation.
Installation Supervision:
Lead and manage technicians during the mechanical assembly of doors (rails, gears, panels, etc.).
Supervise the wiring and integration of motors and control units.
Programming & Commissioning:
Program control panels and calibrate sensors (photocells, loop detectors, and remote controls).
Perform comprehensive testing to ensure smooth movement, safety features, and noise-free operation.
Project Timeline & Handover:
Monitor the project schedule strictly to ensure delivery by the established deadline.
Execute the final handover to the client, providing a live demonstration of the system and safety instructions.
Obtain signed Final Acceptance Certificates (FAC) from clients or consultants.
