Role Overview

We are looking for a Customer Service & Sales Officer to join a highly skilled, supportive, and people-focused team at the Teaching Centre.

Role Purpose

You will ensure that every student — new or returning — receives professional, informed, and supportive assistance throughout their learning journey.

Your work will help increase enrolments, support Teaching Centre targets, and maintain the British Council’s reputation for quality and trust.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Engage with students and parents face-to-face and through different communication channels
  • Respond to enquiries and guide students through the registration process
  • Deliver a welcoming and professional customer experience
  • Conduct consultations and manage student leads
  • Follow up on enquiries and support monthly sales targets
  • Participate in marketing and student engagement activities
  • Handle administrative and operational tasks
  • Perform accurate data entry and payment processing
  • Coordinate surveys and support day-to-day Teaching Centre operations

 

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • University degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service Professional Qualification
  • Sales-related training or certification
  • Experience using CRM software

 

Working Conditions

  • 7.5 working hours per day
  • Rotational shifts between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • 2 days off per week
