Roles & Responsibilities
Quality Engineer is required for a multinational steel and mining company located in Badr City.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the quality manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
- Interface with engineering and operation to ensure transfer to production new products in accordance with approved data.
- Support the quality controllers to ensure that products and processes comply with relevant requirements of the QMS.
- Analyze nonconforms, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.
- Root cause analysis and implantation of corrective action for process related concerns.
- Responsible for planning and organizing internal audits either on products or on processes.
- Assist the quality manager in developing training to build quality awareness.
- Assist the quality manager in making analysis reports to achieve the different quality targets.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Strong understanding of quality engineering principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes and materials.
- Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques (e.g., statistical process control, FMEA, 8D).
