This role focuses on delivering a dynamic Social Studies curriculum in English, aiming to develop students' understanding of history, geography, civics, and cultural awareness through engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver comprehensive Social Studies lessons in English, tailored to the appropriate grade levels Use varied instructional strategies to engage students and promote critical thinking and active learning Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic achievement and personal growth Incorporate current events and global perspectives to enrich the curriculum and foster awareness Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum content and share best practices Support extracurricular activities related to Social Studies, such as history clubs or cultural events Maintain clear and effective communication with parents and school administration

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, Education, History, Geography, or a related field Proven experience teaching Social Studies in English at the relevant educational level Strong knowledge of Social Studies curriculum standards and pedagogical techniques Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ability to inspire and motivate students to engage with social, historical, and cultural topics Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration Teaching certification or relevant qualifications preferred
